It’s Loneliness Awareness Week (15-21 June) and we thought it was a timely reminder to share why connection and conversation is so important if you are a business owner, particularly if you spend long periods of time working alone.
For many business owners, freelancers and remote workers, running a business independently can sometimes feel isolating, with limited opportunities for social interaction throughout the working day. However, coworking spaces provide more than just a desk and office facilities. They create a supportive business community where people can connect, collaborate and build professional relationships. Simply being surrounded by other like-minded professionals can help improve motivation, wellbeing and overall job satisfaction.
Working within a coworking environment also encourages natural networking opportunities, shared experiences and informal conversations that can help reduce feelings of loneliness. Whether it is enjoying a coffee break with others, attending community events or collaborating on new ideas, these daily interactions can make a significant difference, helping create stronger connections and a greater sense of community.
If you would like to try out our coworking spaces, then why not visit us. You can also book into our free Work From Here Wednesdays, which happen on the last Wednesday of every month. Spaces are limited so book quickly for our next one on the 24 June.
